- If you like a slim fit, size down. Your normal size gives you bang on comfort and sizing up allows you to wear over a layer or two.

We’ve got the best insight from some of our nation’s finest support staff so read on below for all Velothreads garment care:
- Machine Wash @30 or below: Like a crisp morning ride—cool, refreshing, and avoids any unnecessary sweating (for the fabric, that is).
- Tumble Dry Low (or Air Dry): Pretend your gears at a café stop—give it time to chill, breathe, and feel the wind. High heat? That’s a sprint finish, and we’re all about the long breakaway.
- Do Not Iron on prints: Like at any start line your jersey should always be wrinkle-free, but if you must, keep it cool—both you and the iron.
- Avoid Dry Cleaning: Would you avoid ‘pulling’ on a ride, it seems tempting, but your Velothreads prefer a proper wash. Keep it classic.
- Wash Inside Out: Because even your kit enjoys a little bit of humility—give those bold colours a little extra protection and a chance to sit in the wheels to recover for the next outing.
- No Bleach, please: Your kit doesn’t need brightening, it’s already the star of the peloton. Bleach is like that rider who refuses to take a turn at the front—just not needed.
